End of a Fine Semester

Our Bi-annual pottery sale was last weekend. It was pretty nice.
I just about sold out. My puffy/textural handles were a hit.
I'm going to miss it when I graduate *tear*

Other Sites

Lets face it....I am addicted to the internet.
I'm on it alot and when I go an entire day without it....I feel like I missed important things.
So because of my love for anything internet...I have alot of personal pages.
I have a Myspace, Facebook and a Deviant Art Account and ofcourse and Etsy page.
I have nothing in my Etsy store at the moment but hopefully at the end of the semester I will have some things to put up.
Here are the links to my pages. Check them out and add me to yours.
Facebook ( you might not be able to see it if you arnt my friend) : http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=62102997&ref=name
I will give the Etsy page addy when I get something in the shop.
I love to see whats going on all over the internet. One day....I will be on Art Axis. One day.

Rites of Passage

I got into my first National Show!

I am extremely stoked.

The show that I got into is called Rites Of Passage.

It is a undergrad/recent graduate show.

These are the stats:

Out of 731 works reviewed, a pool of semi-finalist works included a list of 100. They narrowed this pool down to 26 works by 14 artists from 12 schools in 9 different states for the final selection.
The show is in Ohio.

I am so honored to be chosen.

K.C Coalition

My work was accepted into a undergrad regional show at the Kansas City Artist Coalition.
I recently went to the opening and the work was really nice. The 2-d work was especially nice.

The juror was Stacy Switzer the director of Grand Arts here in KC. She picked out some nice pieces. The show was very mysterious and edgy.

Ceramic

Wood and Rope

This artists' statement was nicely written. We spoke alittle about what exactly the latter is about and it is apparently a latter that is used in the navy. Interesting

Ceramic

My jar is on the left. It is angled weird. I wish I could of moved it even an inch to the right. Plus my lid is on crocked. BUT it looked great behind the glass box. My jar and the bottle to the right were the only functional ceramics there.
